The 2017 Nature Printing Workshop was held at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.

This was a change from recent wilderness or coastal venues for the NPS Workshops. It was held on a small college campus close to Portland, Oregon.
On the west edge of the Portland Metro Area, Forest Grove offers perfect proximity to the city and the great outdoors. You’re a short drive or public transit ride from downtown Portland, or just an hour away from the Oregon Coast or Cascade Mountains. Although an urban setting, the Campus of Pacific University abounds with towering trees and has a small botanical garden. It will be easy on the day off to visit either the Oregon Coast or the nearby wine country, or take tours of attractions such as Washington Park, the Japanese Garden, Powell’s Bookstore, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry or many of the other wonders of Portland.
