Eco Printing with Botanical: Steam Method

Capture the unique beauty of leaves using this non-toxic, natural dyeing method! Using alum, ferrous sulphate, pressed leaves, and natural mordants to create beautiful works of art, including a one-of a-kind silk scarf, greeting cards, or prints suitable for framing for sale, gifs, or personal enjoyment.
Students will collect their own leaves and flower varieties. All other equipment and materials provided.
The instructor will take your designs back to her studio to be steamed. Pickup of the final pieces will be 1 week after the class and can be picked up at the front desk at Mayland Community College.
