Your membership helps support our educational work, which includes offering scholarships to our yearly conference and publishing our book, The Art of Printing from Nature. We welcome anyone who is curious about the fine art of nature printing, and we promote friendship, cooperation, and the free exchange of ideas among all nature printers.
As a member, you will receive our quarterly newsletter, posting of work in the NPS online members’ gallery and a copy of our annual members’ directory. Members also receive first chance to sign up for our yearly conference.
Would you like to sponsor a membership for someone else? Let us know on the form, below. If the dues are a financial hardship for you, please get in touch with anyone on the NPS board. We want you as a member!
Types of Annual Memberships
$50 New or Renewing annual membership runs January 1 through December 31.
$100 Printmaker annual membership ($50 + $50 to support the cataloging and scanning costs of creating our archive at the University of California, Davis.)
Our archive includes scans of historic original prints, posters and other documents from our founding in 1976 to, ultimately, the present day. The NPS newsletters are being scanned as well, and they are now searchable online at the University of California, Davis archive. Creating this archive was one of the original goals of our founding members, Chris Dewees, Eric Hochberg, and Bob Little. If you can, please support their goal by donating to the archive as a Printmaker member.
Send us your dues and contact information by February 1, 2025, and we will publish your contact information in the 2025 Members’ Directory.

Newsletter
Our quarterly, full color newsletter comes out online as a PDF. In it we share our work, our news and our techniques, and it’s a major benefit of NPS membership. Inside you’ll also find information about our events, such as the annual, in-person NPS Workshop, and quarterly online Show and Tell.

NPS is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization and donations are deductible to the extent permitted by IRS regulations. Gifts to NPS help us achieve our goal of nature printing outreach and education. To make a donation to the Nature Printing Society, click here.
